Why Tumblr?!

For some reason I cannot get why some of the people uses Tumblr to blog because blogging on Tumblr has no benefits at all while Google Blogger or should I say Google Blogspot has several options/features that can benefits the bloggers especially being able to bring in a revenue. How can bloggers get revenues from Google Blogger/Blogspot? Google integrated their Google Adsense platform in Google Blogger/Blogspot service that is ready for you to enable to bring revenue in from your blogs using Google Blogger/Blogspot and Tumblr has none of that so I don't see the fuzz about Tumblr as if Tumblr is the best all around when in reality it's not even close to being the best because it don't have several features that Google Blogger/Blogspot has for anyone who want to become blogger or even novice bloggers.
